My 13 year old son was in the burn unit April 28-June 1st. The staff in the burn unit were amazing and went above and beyond making sure he was comfortable. The fact that they spoke to him when they were changing the bandages etc and not to just his father and I was the best. It was sho st going thru it and they took the time to explain everything he had questions on. My pediatrician recommended I take my 4 month old son to the ER as he was experiencing uncontrollable vomitting, lethargy and fevers between 103.7-104 that weren't responding to Tylenol. I got to the ER and after about an hour in the waiting room we got a bed in the ChIldrens ED. The registrar came in right away to collect the $125 copay- which we paid, in full at time of service. I love coming to this hospital for any emergency. I had my son in this hospital and since I walked into the emergency area I felt the warm hospitality of the nurses and in labor and delivery all the staff was amazing...today 5/22/17 my 4 year old is having surgery and the nurses and the anesthesiologists had been checking up on my son before he went in and made sure he wasn't scared and they've been checking on me to see how I'm feeling and they are so sweet... I would highly recommend this hospital hands down... Thank you t... read more
