Le Virtu is always my first choice. I’ve been there many times and will return many more. Fantastic authentic Abruzzese selections and amazing wine list. And the owners are the finest people you will ever meet. 5 stars!!
A comforting, warm, and peaceful space, with a menu that never fails to please, or to constantly seek the perfect reflection of the best flavors of Abruzzo.
I have been eating at Le Virtù for 9 years. I love their food - culinary artisans. Try the pasta a la mugnaia - holy smokes, one very long and continuous strand of pasta per serving, just like I had in Abruzzo. They’re outdoor summer series offers grilled specials and on Wednesday nights you can watch famous Italian classic movies on the big outdoor screen.
One of Philadelphia's hidden gems located in the heart of South Philly. If you are visiting the City this should be on your dining list as it is a treasure. Food, atmosphere are spot on.
The restaurant accommodated our party of 17 on short notice, and the service was excellent. I loved everything we ordered, especially the fresh pasta. I can't wait to return!
Excellent environment to taste the real deal from Abruzzo. They also give back to the community in a very meaningful way.
amazing in every way, one of my favorite spots
always a great time, good food good service great people
LOVE Le Virtu!!! Not only is the food delicious and some of the BEST Italian food in the city, but they do so much for the community and is a business that actually cares about this city. Highly recommend... love sitting outside when it's nice outside.
