My husband and I have been going to Le Virtu for several years, and it is our #1 favorite Italian restaurant in Philadelphia. Everything is simply delicious and prepared in the most conscientious way to be authentic cuisine from a little-known part of Italy (Abruzzo).

Stopped in for a lite bite on Friday and ended up having a full dinner. Everything was outstanding. Best pasta on the Ave.

A restaurant with heart and soul. Great care and attention is placed on all the food doing justice to Abruzzese cuisine. Located appropriately in the East Passyunk district of South Philly and named after one of the classic dishes of Abruzzo, you won't be disappointed. Go for the Maccheroni all Chitarra or the agnolotti (ravioli) if you hunger for exquisite pasta. The seafood brodetto is so delicious. Do yourself a favor. Go!

I don't support a restaurant that glorifies illegal immigrants who are breaking the law. have a benefit dinner for people that actually contribute to our community like police and firefighters.
