Where did the Lazy Dog Café name come from? One snowy afternoon, walking back into the lodge after a long morning on the slopes, Chris noticed a dog lying by the toasty fireplace. Commenting to his buddies on how much he loved his time hanging out there, he told them he wished everyone could enjoy life as much as that “lazy dog’ by the fire.

The service was phenomenal, thanks Evan!!! Our meals were delicious and very flavorful. The manger came over and welcomed us with a free appetizer for our first time visit, which is a plus. Our puppy loved the food and all the attention. Great place!!!
Always delicious. I never know what to get cause I want to try the "spicy" stuff but I don't want it to hot... so I always end up getting the pot pie. But you can't go wrong with the pot pie!
So because of the wonderful Lazy Dog 🐶 Downey has me and my parents were gonna go to the Downey location but we were pressed for time m,!so we decided to go the Torrance location which sucked. This location Torrance has bad reviews on Yelp, but despite that we still went to then Torrance location , we waited for a table the wait was great, I wish I could say the same for the waitress/server. Good food good alcohol drinks nice people i would like to come back
The food was very good, I had the fettuccine alfredo , it was very good just a little blend . The service was good, we had a large group and the server was very good, she was pleasant and friendly. We ordered several different meals and everyone seemed to be satisfied with their selection , I will go back again.
I love this place - super dog friendly, nice staff, delicious food and nice ambiance.
Food was great. Service was good. Bacon and zucchini pizza off the hook. Happy hour was really good.
Our waitress was a sweetheart, I'm very happy that they played rock 'n' roll... Good music is hard to find in the Southbay
