About this business

Where did the Lazy Dog Café name come from? One snowy afternoon, walking back into the lodge after a long morning on the slopes, Chris noticed a dog lying by the toasty fireplace. Commenting to his buddies on how much he loved his time hanging out there, he told them he wished everyone could enjoy life as much as that “lazy dog’ by the fire.

Everytime I go to the Lazy Dog the experience is great. In fact it gets better. The food is absolutely fantastic Fish and Chips, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs. And their homemade chips will leave you speachless with joy. Love the place.

It's a truly wonderful place to visit after coming from pre-film or general releases or future screenings. The food's selectively delicious, especially the chicken teriyaki & corn chowder in a typically wild country-style architecture.

Bad service from the start. Insulted me after taking my order.. she looks at the pad she was writing on and said you know thats going to be extra. Then they brought me the worst looking salad with out the dressing that I asked for. So I just left and the manager was no help at all. She did not even ask what was wrong. I eat here all the time. Oh well. Will not be back no time soon.

Very slow service, didn't get our appetizer until after our main was served. If you go for a Friday night drink with friends, good luck getting a second drink for quite sometime. Won't go again.

The food is always fresh and delicious. Our server Paul was so helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the Corn Wheels, a Cheese Burger and Peach Cobbler. Our puppy was welcomed and ate off the paws menu and enjoyed her very large meal and asked for a to go bag. We love lazy dog and visit every time we visit CA. Please bring one to Phoenix!
