Where did the Lazy Dog Café name come from? One snowy afternoon, walking back into the lodge after a long morning on the slopes, Chris noticed a dog lying by the toasty fireplace. Commenting to his buddies on how much he loved his time hanging out there, he told them he wished everyone could enjoy life as much as that “lazy dog’ by the fire.

I've never been all that impressed with the food here but the decor is cool. Wooden beams and doggie pictures make it a pleasant place to hang out. Back to the food- I had to send my chicken sandwich back and order something else because I could barely bite through it. It was gristly and the bottom was over cooked. The manager was very nice, though, comping my meal. Go to Lazy Dog for drinks and maybe apps, but think about somewhere else for dinner.

The service was phenomenal, thanks Evan!!! Our meals were delicious and very flavorful. The manger came over and welcomed us with a free appetizer for our first time visit, which is a plus. Our puppy loved the food and all the attention. Great place!!!
Always delicious. I never know what to get cause I want to try the "spicy" stuff but I don't want it to hot... so I always end up getting the pot pie. But you can't go wrong with the pot pie!
So because of the wonderful Lazy Dog 🐶 Downey has me and my parents were gonna go to the Downey location but we were pressed for time m,!so we decided to go the Torrance location which sucked. This location Torrance has bad reviews on Yelp, but despite that we still went to then Torrance location , we waited for a table the wait was great, I wish I could say the same for the waitress/server.
