Rudest Service Around for OK Pizza – Customer service and good will is just as important as quality. When Lazaros told me they didnt recognize my delivery address (23rd and Bainbridge), they hung up the phone. I was treated so rudely when I tried to place an order with them that I will never set foot inside that place ever again. Bear in mind, the person I was speaking with barely spoke English. I suggest they hire someone with manners who can communicate effectively.

Best Pizza Place of its kind – Excellent pizza, great price. Everything about the pizza is good - crust, cheese, sauce, etc. Whether we order a pizza for pick up or delivery, or get pizza by the slice, we are always delighted.

I just don't get the hype – I hate to generalize but I really think Lazaros is most popular among people who didn't grow up on all the great pizzerias Philly has to offer. This place is a pretender to the throne, sure the pizza is huge and well priced and not flat out bad, so I guess that makes it easy to look past the fact that it's sub par when compared to its peers around the city. My favorite pizza shop – This is my favorite local delivery pizza shop! If you want a big, sloppy, thin-crust slice of pizza this is the place. The sauce is a bit sweeter than other pizzas I've had, but it is really good and worth trying. Their cheesesteaks are also delicious - much larger than the other famous cheesesteak shops and just as yummy!

Need to Tweak The sugar content of their Sauce – This is one of the better pizzerias in Center City Philadelphia, but the pizza sauce used has too high of a sugar content making it taste a little too sweet. As far as value for your dollar, however, you have that with this restaurant. If they could just tweak the sauce a little, the pizza would be near perfection.

Good cracker, gooooood cracker... – Hot women too. On Thursdays when they have the "theme" dancers, it is really worth the trip. I'll be back. (seriously - good food; good pizza; quick delivery

Great Slice!! – We were driving down South Street and saw this place so my husband pulled over and ran in to get a slice. It was a vegetarian slice and it was huge with a lot of different vegie's on it with thin but crispy dough which I love. The slice was only $2.50 but the size of 2 slice so well worth it.

the best of philly...period!!!! – i have read a couple of the negative reviews. i think that they are probably from the mid west or competitors. this is the best pizza in philly...and probably further. if your idea of pizza comes from california, or you like the modern "gourmet" style...this isn't for you. but, for traditional "city" pizza, you will love this one. never mind the "huge" slices or the $2 slice. it goes beyond that. taste the buttery flavor, sauce, and generous cheese. order delivery or take out unless you are ... read more
