I was in the er yesterday 16 weeks pregnant with the stomach flu really bad and they made me wait 6 hours in the waiting room and were doing people's vitals in the waiting room in front of other patients, which I believe is a HIPAA violation. when I finally got called back for treatment they wanted to give me a nausea medication that was not pregnancy safe, I had to ask for something else. Total wait time almost 10 hours to be seen The wait time they don't take you seriously the er drs just push you off to specialist like it's not their problem and they discriminate if you have Medicaid if you have a private insurance you get amazing care everything full extent. Medicaid you get told your imagining it or it's acid reflux when it's not and they don't do further testing like ct scan or a mri but if I was someone else with private insurance I would get every test done also they take people with bruises and cuts a... read more

Worked there fourty years. left because of MS. They thought I was impaired so they let me go. so the Pequot supervisor. let me go and put me on Ortho. had to do med pass with instructor and she found I was incompetent. Next day I was there in am and nurse manager took me aside and told me to leave.I was devastated.Signed up for medical and medical with smaller income.

I had a baby on Feb. 10th & I REALLY need to express my gratitude to two of the ladies that helped in my son's delivery. Their names were Christine & Tiffany. They were beyond amazing. They made me feel so comfortable, safe, & like i was with family. I got the impression that they genuinely cared about me & my son and i couldn't have asked for anything better. I cannot express how thankful I am to everyone who treated me during my recent stay. I fell ill during the weekend on 8th Dec and on Sun 9th Headed to the Pequot ER where I was seen immediately and the docs and nurses were all fantastic! I was transferred to New London and encountered a second ER which was clearly overworked and understaffed but still the care was top notch. I was admitted to ward 5.2 in the middle of the night and stayed there for 4 days receiving treatment and surgery. The nurses were amazing- they genuine... read more

billing is absolutely the worst I told the woman on the phone SEVERAL times what I was told by my insurance just for her to tell me that it's my fault nothing is working and to be hung up on

This ER is ridiculous. In the waiting room for over an hour, put in a room to wait over an hour, been here for almost 2 1/2 hours right now with a child having severe stomach pains. Tried saying "it's viral" like they do with everything. Had to demand for an ultrasound otherwise they wouldn't have even looked into it. Guy in the room next to us walked out saying he's been here since 4:30 this morning and still waiting. If you don't have the staff close the ER or stop admitting more patients.
