Got induced to deliver my baby girl, one month premature due to preeclampsia and four days postpartum (I had a very traumatic birth and she was in the NICU). Our nurse named Kathy I believed made a comment to me about how I need to not have sex until after I’m healed because that’s how girls like me end up with twins and three kids under 2 and another right before I was discharged saying she hopes she’s retired before Me and my husband have another kid. I’ve had wonderful experiences with nurses here but after this most recent time wont be driving past Backus to go all the way to L&M. And hoping that patient relations really does get back to me ASAP after a doctor completely dismissed my concerns, leading to a misdiagnosis which could have lead to a systemic infection of a 2 year old. I’d post pictures, but they’re extremely graphic.

Spent 4 hours yesterday in L&M Hospital getting a Nuclear Cardiac Stress Test. In the age of COVID I never felt safer!
I went to L&M Pequot for bleeding post tonsillectomy. Thy diagnoses me as “trickling” blood. I sat there bleeding for 5 hours before they sent me to Backus. This was after they tried to discharge me while still bleeding and my husband refused to let me leave in that condition. When I arrived at Backus I was informed about how bad the situation really was. I wasn’t “trickling” I was hemorrhaging. I needed to have emergency surgery to keep from bleeding to death.
