Wow, just an amazing doctor! I couldn't be happier with the help of Dr. Dabney. She not only helped me see things differently but helped me see how other issues could be causing the temporary issues I had when I came in as a new patient.
Finally! I found someone who does not try to fix my problems with pills. Dr. Dabney is an intelligent, experienced physician who listened to my problems and worked with me to find underlying issues. I highly recommend her.
I had online counseling with Dr. Dadney. Though this counseling only involved written corespondence, she told me I had a personality disorder. She refused to tell me which one or why she thought so. She pressured me to date, was overbearing, insisted I had trauma I did not have, & treated me as though I was a dishonest person at an extremely vulnerable time for me. Later I was formally and properly diagnosed with autism. She had no way of properly identifying my social communication impairments.
Dr. Dabney provides a great experience for the patient by creating an environment built on trust, safety and openness. She does not provide the answers per se' but asks the tough questions that cause you to really become introspective and more self aware. She has helped me significantly in helping me become a better person for myself which in turn has made me a better father, a better husband and a better friend. She and her entire staff are really focused on the patient.
I've been seeing Dr. Dabney for quite some time, as I've had a long way to go. She has been my faithful guide. She has always had my best interests at the forefront, and her power of unbiased observation is amazing. I'm in a much better place, and it is due to her approach. And she's always there for you. Thank you Dr. Dabney!
I contacted Dr. Dabney's office after experiencing panic attacks and anxiety after a deployment, something I have never dealt with before. I was assigned Dr. Heidel. She gave me insight and points of view on my mental health that I never realized before and we explored things about my life that I didn't realize made such a huge impact on my mental health. With the medication management and a thorough understanding about my mental condition, I am able to control my anxiety and panic attacks.
Business response:

Like no other psych practice. Dr. Dabney worked with me personally, did not have to go through staff to make appointments or talk to her. I learned so much, incredible really.

Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback! I am glad to hear you've felt supported.
I found Dr. Dabney to be very helpful during the time that I worked with her. However, be cautious about seeing her. She can be over confident and does not take feedback well. She told me I had a personality disorder and would not dicuss any details about it with me. I was also absurdly told I had an addiction. She began setting goals for me & I had a ton of anxiety until I no longer saw her. I have only once experienced this same anxiety again in counseling from fear of have the same experience
Business response:
I am happy to know that I was able to provide you some help. I applaud the courage it took for you to see me and write your thoughts. It is not my habit to give diagnoses as they are typically not useful. However, "personality disorder" means difficulty maintaining longstanding satisfying intimate relationships. Productive therapy involves having you try a number of new approaches, or "goals," which can lead to trepidation but also hope for change. I wish you well on your emotional journey.
