I vividly recall visiting the Dahlkemper's department store. My favorite part was the luxurious jewelry department. I remember gazing into the jewelry cases as a young girl and dreaming! The Lantern of Saybrook is an amazing transformation of this former space. I now have the pleasure of being part of another dream in the same building! Working with wonderful compassionate team members that help treat Alzheimer's!

After 5 weeks we have seen remarkable improvement in our mom. After 4 other facilities we are finally relaxing and have some peace of mind that she is being taken care of when we are not there. We love the entire team of caregivers, administrative team, p.t. and our Hospice team. Everyone is actively engaged with the residents as well as the families. We are praying that this never changes!

Working in the Lantern of Saybrook is an experience like no other, in a good way of course! I love all of my coworkers so much, and the clients themselves. I love having a job where I not only care for my clients, but I have time to have fun with them too! Reading to them, taking walks outside, or simply just getting to talk to them about their day is such an incredible thing to be able to do while on the job. I love the Lantern of Saybrook! There is so much love and energy as soon as you walk in the building! Everybody is so friendly and incredibly helpful. I will forever be thankful and cherish the experience I have had here.

Im absolutely blessed to be working at the Lantern of Sayybrook. I have never had a job thats been so amazing. I am so blessed to work with our amazing clients and families. Everything about this place is great! Such positive energy right when I walk into the building, I am excited to go to work everyday!. I love the teamwork, eveyone puts an effort into what they are doing.
