Horrible. John Carter, Trey Carter, (whoever it is) is awful at handling DWIs. If he is assigned as a public defender, I would immediately apply for a different one. Barely any communication unless you call him yourself. Also good luck trying to ask to file a form through him as he will tell you, “I honestly don’t know how to do it” but will then proceed to tell you step-by-step on how to do it. Worst place every $7,500down the drain for nothing do your research get a lawyer who will actually help you communicate with you and see you get a fair trial
Disappointed, I called for potential representation and was pretty much dismissed immediately. I will not use them for anything in future based on that one call alone.
Was assigned John T Carter 3 as a public defender… my case got dismissed and nobody notified me… I never met him and the only time I ever spoke to him was when he was basically telling me I needed to pay him an obscene amount of money for him to actually do his job even though he was my assigned public defender… he didn’t even know my case had been dismissed until I called him and told him… highly suggest anybody assigned to him as a public defender just goes and gets a private lawyer… I suggest Houser Law Firm, they genuine... read more
Has an accident that I was injured in, immediately scheduled an appointment with Andrew Lanier, it was a week and a half out so kinda later than I needed but I figured it would be fine as long as I got everything figured out. I then get a call two days before the appointment saying he can’t make it and they need to reschedule it. I’ve waited a week and a half already waiting to speak with a lawyer only for this office to completely blow me off and made me wait a week for nothing
