Room I was in, cleaned regularly, but on left wall as you sat by bed, hardened mucous all over wall, food gave me disgusting taste in my mouth which will never go away. One nurse shouted the islamic term for "God is great" hundreds of cigarette butts at opening of clinic and in garden. Also no camera in the dining hall, had a patient flick his nose in to my food.
After being sectioned in 2016 due to full blown mania caused by (until then) undiagnosed Bi Polar Affective Disorder I found myself in Langhill Clinic for several months The treatment received was fantastic, the staff were all wonderful and to this day they all have a special place in my heart. Thank you Robbie and all the rest of you for putting up with my erratic behaviour and patiently helping me to get my life back on the level.
Terrible place with emotionally deficient staff who treat patients like animals. Your mental health will take a nose dive instead of improving if you stay here. The staff are insulting and racially prejudiced. They have no empathy and will talk down on you like you are an idiot. This facility may help if you are trying to quit drugs but it is certainly not for a breastfeeding mother of a 10 months old who was maliciously snatched and placed in this dungeon by an abusive husband who is not being supported by the NHS.
