first friendly service from professional staff
It was my first time donating blood and the whole process was superb. The only (very, very minor) pain I had was when the lovely nurse inserted the donation needle. Everything else was painless. ALL the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, thoughtful and caring. I came away feeling positive about donating and somewhat annoyed that I had not donated blood before.
I usually donate blood at my nearest donation clinic, however I booked in at Lancaster donation centre this time. I arrived & was greeted by Sian who was friendly, welcoming & lovely. Sian explained the process to me. I then was seen by Paula who was just as lovely. Overall my experience here was wonderful & felt comfortable whilst donating
