Old school 1604M best rod I own!! Caught many big blues and hybrids on these rods!! But as far as any new lamis they are verry easy to break!
Awesome rods hope to make some great memory with it
I've owned several lamiglas rods, personally I have drug them through the brush fished every day all winter long and have never broke a rod. Hmmm is it just me that has never had a problem or are these rods being used the wrong way, there fishing poles They are not industructable. I personally think they are being abused in ways that there not telling to save there ass on the warranty.
Update: Lamiglass did the right thing. I called again, today quick answer of the phone couple quick phone conversations. They explained that they have been doing inventory, that combined with the holidays lead to lack of phone contact. Then, they offered to send me a new rod top free of charge, even after I offered to pay for it. Christine was great super helpful. Overall I would say good customer service when contact is made. The Lamiglas Surf King 11 ft 2 piece fiberglass Moderate fast action rod Paired with my penn slammer makes for an amazing combo. The rod is Very well built and perfect for throwing heavy jigs and plugs. I highly recommend a lamiaglas.
I purchased a brand new Surf Pro 1083-2 which is my second Surf Pro and it broke below the first guide. Sent to Lamiglas, they said it was defective and a new one arrived a few weeks later. Christine in customer service responded promptly to every email and I received a phone call and tracking number when my replacement rod shipped out. I will continue to be a loyal Lamiglas customer after this experience.
