Had a rod for 3 months. It blew up for no reason casting a 3/4 oz. bucktail and of course they found no defects. What a crock. Limited lifetime warranty is a joke and a scam. It took them 3 weeks after receiving my rod to initially call me with their determination that there were no defects and 1day after reevaluating the rod they gave me the same answer. Love my lamiglas like it feels and light weight . today I was castings and it snapped in two not happy at all .
My certified pro is my favorite rod in my collection. I use it for drifting, floating, plunking, and more. That being said, it's the only lamiglas I'll ever own because their customer service is crap. I've left a voicemail, two emails, and posted on one of their Facebook photos (if you have time to post shit on Facebook you have time to respond to your customer inquiries first) to find out if they can replace the tip section since they no longer sell the certified pro, and how much it will cost. I have. Even a customer for better than 20 years. Every business goes through growing pains, but Lami has always ended up taking care of me well in the end.
