I never been to use lamiglas rod but I'm fishing a lot in the surf, at this time I'm using imx glomis rod and saltig reel from daiwa, I wish I could try lamiglas rod too!

Lamiglas in their day was the top dog down our way in Hatteras. Suddenly someone made a marketing change or decision and except for trout and blues the surf guys were cut out of the market. Here in Hatteras where the big DRUM play in the surf Lamiglas is a joke now. If we could only go back to the good old days of long surf Lamies and good warrenty service. I don't think you can even get them on the Outer Banks of NC except for a few of their pre made K-Mart specials!
