Brought an f150 in for 100k mile maintenance/check up and oil change. They marked everything as good on the truck . Got it back and low brake fluid light came on and then the powertrain light... took it back in . Loose brake line and they claim they couldnt get the powertrain light to come back on. My first experience with Lakewood Ford service department and I won't go anywhere else from now on. Everything from the communication, customer service, and how quickly they executed the work i had requested was exceptional. Five stars from me.
I’m always going to be a FORD guy, unfortunately I am very disappointed. I dropped off my car for service Friday and then went to work, didn’t hear from them the whole day, no updates. *****Buyer Beware*****I purchased an SUV from Lakewood Ford, paid a little over $16000 cash with a $3,000 gold package all inclusive warranty. It was marketed as total protection coverage and would give me total piece of mind. Less than 2 months later and less than 1,000 miles driven and the car started overheating. I normally don't post reviews on Facebook, but I can't stand dishonest car repair places.Brought my car here to fix the ebrake. They didn't fix it, broke my calipers and brake pads and then denied they did it. Just got back from Midas, they fixed it and my ebrake. Go there instead.
They showed me how to reprogram my car after oil change and explained why my car does things.
We drove our vehicle home to Vancouver Washington. Drove fine. Put the Camper on it and trailer and now we have different story. The truck would turn off when going up a hill. Very unsafe when towing a 26 foot trailer and camper around a curve and you have to recycle the key to get it to restart. We found the entire fuel system to be rusted out.
