The house is clean and welcoming. Lakeland retreats were great throughout. The was a problem with the shower in the house which they notified us before we arrived and when we were unable to move the bin out they sent someone to do it. The driveway could use some tlc but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The house could benefit from a little landscaping to improve the views.
I’ll start by staying that we had a great time staying at Seathwaite Cottage booked with Lakeland Retreats , it is a great base for touring the area. The cottage is well equipped and generally well cleaned on the surface, particularly for what is a large and old property. Very nice cottage, immaculately clean and well presented on arival. We had a really lovely holiday so thanks to the owners and lakeland retreats.
Having just returned from the Lakeland Retreats property “Chatsworth” the visit was superb. Due in no small part to the excellent standard and quality of the property and outstanding positioning. The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The property is just five minutes walk from the centre of Ambleside so benefits from easy access to local services yet being away from the busy areas of town.
