This would be a minus 10 if I could. This business sucks. The lady who handles the finances does not know what your insurance will cover just to get you stuck doing a procedure that you'll be responsible for. They don't bother to use the PCS from the insurance company and charge you full price for work. Do not sign any paperwork or trust this company until your insurance company validates in writing what services they'll cover. Great expression dental is by far the worst dental center you could go to. They never keep the same dentist on staff. They always quit and go somewhere else which says alot about the establishment. My daughter has been going to the orthodontist there for the last 3 years and have had 3 different orthodontist..

Great Expression Dental of Lansing GASED me as a minor to take advantage of me!!! 3 different doctors from Great Expressions Dental have delibrately caused damages to my teeth. On the Ortho side of the business Late 1990s to 2001 had braces done here. Doctors TWICE took advantage of me under gas! My Family had a bad experience at Great Expressions Willow Creek, Canton MI, very disappointed with the staff and management for unethical Behavior. To add to our frustration, despite reaching out several times, there was no response from the management to my complaint at this location or the corporate office.

The finance lady Cindy is really unprofessional and petty when/if you owe a balance. She acts like she has to pay the money from her own bank account. She will hang up the phone on you and she even gets loud and rude with the customers. Please go elsewhere, this place sucks.

The practice called me a week prior to my child's appointment about her bill and upcoming appointment. I could not get anyone on the phone so I went into the practice on the day of the appointment (at 8am appointment was at 2pm) to resolve the issue. They could not explain charges on my EOB. They billed for a xray that had an age limit so it was not covered and was trying to make me pay for it. The rebilled it on a different day as a different type of xray and was denied for it was well. I have used this location on 2 separate occasions. I was satisfied with the root canal and crown, from the first visit. The second occasion was when I decided to get Dentures. The impressions were wrong, causing the lower denture to come in wrong ( 5 mos. later). Within the 45 days warranty period I requested several times that they send them back & do a replacement. Each time I was told the lower denture only needed 'tweaking'. I've have had several 'tweaking's', each which caused another area to become unbalanced. Now they... read more

They are expensive. They quote you expensive procedures without a thorough exam. They held a refund for 4 weeks. Elena Carr the office manager lied when she said she couldn't call accounting to check on it. They have no nitrous oxide! They are pushy salespeople who charge 3 times what other dentists charge. Stay away!
