I would really like to share that this is the best mechanic on the island, however in our experience, they have had the car 7 weeks now, apparently they ordered parts one at a time or not at all and then decided to prioritise other cars over ours. Im so disappointed as we were recommended to use this garage however in direct contrast my daughter booked her car into another garage yesterday and it is ready for collection today. Many thanks to Laings, and John in particular, for helping us out on Saturday. A tyre puncture just into North Uist, and John came out, removed the wheel, dropped my wife off at our accommodation, and the Laings team sorted out a replacement tyre, rove back to North Uist, put it on, and then followed me into South Uist to make sure there were no more problems. Super service, and highly recommended.
