Our story begins in 1952, in the small fishing village of Mola di Bari, in Puglia - the region best known as the heel of Italy's "boot." There, Antonio Vetrati met and married Maria Innamorato. With his family held close to his heart, & with little money, no plans and speaking only a few words of English, Antonio traveled to the United States and found work in a New Jersey pizzeria. Nice little Italian Nice little Italian place in Downtown Chandler. Who would have known? Good food. Good service in my list of favorites of that area now.
They have great food They have great food with healthy portions. It was very tasty food and lots of it for a very reasonable price. The staff was great, thanks Duane! I would go back again in a heartbeat. The Tortellini Aurora was delicious with great flavor profiles. The Tagliatelle Ella Toscana was delicious, meaty and flavorful. I highly recommend this place.
Great food and nice ambiance! Decided to go on a Sunday and it was very nice. Split a $6.00 wood fire pizza and a salad with my husband. I thought it was very good. They have some really nice $6.00 deals at lunch. I absolutely love the atmosphere in there, very cozy.
Love it! While on a family trip, we stayed at a hotel with sub par food so this restaurant made our trip! The atmosphere was very pleasant and made me feel like I took a trip to Italy rather than Chandler, Arizona. The service was quick and great, and the food was too good to stop eating! I've recommended this place to anyone.
Great Bistecca Pleasant atmosphere; ask for cushions for the chairs - they have them. Disappointed it is a Gun Free Zone - I have a CCW and like to carry wherever I go.
Been twice, can't wait to go back We have relatives in Chandler, so when we visit, we now make it a point of visiting La Stalla Cucina Rustica. Exceptional restaurants in Chandler seem hard to find, but we've thoroughly enjoyed both visits here. Located in Old Town Chandler, the restaurant features a beautiful atmosphere. EXCELLENT ITALIAN FOOD !!!!!! EXCELLENT ITALIAN FOOD!!!!!! We had a large group of friends (11) attend a play together and had dinner at La Stalla. The food was awesome and the service was terrific - our server attended to all our needs and had a great personality as well. We all had a great evening and plan to come back again. Loved it!!!
Best Gnocchi I have ever had! Best Gnocchi I have ever had! This was one of the best most authentic Italian dinners I have had in a while. The Gnocchi I ordered was out of this world good. All of my coworkers also enjoyed their meals!
I would come back the next time I am in town. Nice menu, but I stopped reading at gnocchi. Very good and a generous portion. Also had the tortellini soup. Had an Italian beer with the meal and an espresso after. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere.
