Our story begins in 1952, in the small fishing village of Mola di Bari, in Puglia - the region best known as the heel of Italy's "boot." There, Antonio Vetrati met and married Maria Innamorato. With his family held close to his heart, & with little money, no plans and speaking only a few words of English, Antonio traveled to the United States and found work in a New Jersey pizzeria. Great Place to Meet and Eat! This is our favorite Italian Restuarant in the USA. Unusual recipes and hearty servings! Love the ambiance and the excellent service. They have very affordable lunch specials! My favorite is the Barrata appetizer and their Tiramisu! If you can't eat in Italy, this is the next best!

It did not disappoint, food was great and authentic, service was great, and the ambiance was great. I would highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning. Great local restaurant in downtown Chandler.
Delightful Surprise in Downtown Chandler, AZ New to the area of Chandler, AZ we were walking and looking at menus and hoping to find a nice restaurant. Much to our surprise we did! La Stalla was wonderful. It was packed which indicates we weren't the only one that thought so. Owners parents are from Italy and have 5 restaurants along the Jersey coast.
This place is amazing. This place is amazing. Quaint, little Italian cafe across the street from the Crowne Plaza San Marcos hotel. I had the homemade chicken soup and it was so good I went back a second time for it! They have daily lunch specials for $6.00. Huge portions, great service, lovely ambiance, and home cooked goodness! You won't be disappointed.
A small, family owned A small, family owned Italian restaurant that has terrific food, atmosphere and service. The menus are well planned and executed to a "T". Pricing is fair for the fare. No skimping on food but not a trough either. Wine menu is updated often enough that we regulars have to check it to see what's new and worth trying.
We are regulars at La Stalla We are regulars at La Stalla for multiple reasons! The staff is at tentative, the food is above and beyond the chain restaurants, and the Tiramasu is the best I have eaten, even better than what I experienced in Italy! They have a great lunch menu that is affordable and plentiful!! Pizza made in their own wood burning oven and outside...
I've been to La Stalla I've been to La Stalla twice now and both experiences have been fantasitc. I ordered the gnocchi both times and it was probably some of the best I have ever had. My second visit to La Stalla was for my birthday and my friends and I sampled a little of what everyone else ordered and I have to say that everything was the bomb!!
Excellent! The food is absolutely the best in the Chandler area. The service is great and I have always enjoyed whatever I have ordered! The staff is very knowlegable and very helpful. The ambiance is wonderful- eat either indoors or out on the small patio.
