Our story begins in 1952, in the small fishing village of Mola di Bari, in Puglia - the region best known as the heel of Italy's "boot." There, Antonio Vetrati met and married Maria Innamorato. With his family held close to his heart, & with little money, no plans and speaking only a few words of English, Antonio traveled to the United States and found work in a New Jersey pizzeria. Wonderful family Wonderful family owned and operated Italian restaurant in downtown Chandler AZ. Food is out of this world and very reasonably priced. Have a great Happy Hour each day from 4-6PM. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.
The best. La Stalla has to be the BEST Italian place in AZ.
Nice place Came in for the first time. The lunch special banner got my attention. Was given the economy menu and ordered the Margarita pizza. IT was really good and big. Great price of the portion. Nice place. Great server.
My husband and I go periodically and have always had a great experience. We love local restaurants and abhor chain restaurants!
My parents are Italian so I grew up on east coast Italian food and I lived in Rome, Italy for a couple years in my 30's - so I have a nostalgia for authentic Italian. La Stalla is the most authentic Italian food experience I've ever had in the Phoenix area. Delicious, simple cuisine, with a beautiful Tuscan atmosphere. I've been there many times and tried most everything on the menu - it's all been excellent.

Food is great The regular food is great during dinner time & the happy hour specials are a good deal; the wood-fired pizzas are authentic.
