Our story begins in 1952, in the small fishing village of Mola di Bari, in Puglia - the region best known as the heel of Italy's "boot." There, Antonio Vetrati met and married Maria Innamorato. With his family held close to his heart, & with little money, no plans and speaking only a few words of English, Antonio traveled to the United States and found work in a New Jersey pizzeria. A local favorite This is one of our favorite restaurants. Everything we have tried on the menu is delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is usually very good. Definitely the best Italian in the area. Would highly recommend. Excellent pizza with $5/pie lunch specials on the weekend - fantastic.
Italian Like Mamma DIDN'T Use to Make Very pleasant, old world ambience. Absolutely average Italian fare. Small portions for the price. Below-average waitstaff. Bottom line: much better Italian is to be had at a more fair price. Uninspired.

Ummm The tiramasu is so creamy and the creme brulee... too good for words. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Ummm cant wait to go back.
Based on the reviews Based on the reviews I went here and it was fantastic. Very good menu and the specials were great. Interesting dishes featuring rabbit and kangaroo were on the special's list for instance. The service is fantastic and they have a nice wine list. Prices are very reasonable and good sized portions. I will return on my next trip
They have great food They have great food with healthy portions. It was very tasty food and lots of it for a very reasonable price. The staff was great, thanks Duane! I would go back again in a heartbeat. The Tortellini Aurora was delicious with great flavor profiles. The Tagliatelle Ella Toscana was delicious, meaty and flavorful. I highly recommend this place.
We had a nice dinner We had a nice dinner at La Stalla. It has nice ambience inside and good homemade pasta options. We both tried the dinner specials and it was very nice. Good wait staff.
This may be as good as it gets This may be as good as it gets in the east valley. Menu has the basics and other much more exciting dishes. Another restaurant where it would be a sin to double tap the menu. Service, decor, menu, plating, flavors, yum. Perfect if you're looking for an authentic-ish menu. It's never been busy when I go so I always call ahead to make sure it hasn't closed.
Primary Fabulous decor and ambience! I've went with large work groups for dinner at least 5 times... even with 12 people the service was awesome! I can't tell which is my favorite dish... they are all so good!
