LaFuentes – It was Cinco de Mayo today,,,,, everthing went wrong today. We were crossed off the seating list., were then were seated outside more like left outside.2 hours later we were served cold food and the wrong food. We were told the kitchen was having issues.....but we were not told that the waiter was having issues to. He never checked on us, 2 meals went back wrong and cold. Fantastic La Fuente-Experiensia Unico – People!!! This is not a place for children....prices high, intoxicated individuals, loud behavior, all around fun. When you go into La fuente you go to get away....no judging, just have fun and enjoy the buzz of the margaritas.....OH SOO GOOOD..................
Best margarita's ever!! – The rainbow margarita's are fantasic as well as the shrimp and steak faitas they have. I try to make it there at least 8 times out of a year!! maybe more if I have time!
Rainbow Margaritas – I'm not a fan of mexican food, but I enjoyed my experience. I was told to go here, it was pretty pricey, but I guess it was because we ordered a lot of pitchers of margaritas. You get a lot of food also. Service was not great, even though it was exteremly busy, waitress kept forgetting things.
Try somewhere else – I used to frequent La Fuente on a regular basis, however I think the quality of their food and their service has gone downhill in the past year. It is too crowded and once you do get a seat, they are in a big hurry to get you out of there. For lunch, it may be better, but for dinner I really don't want to be rushed to eat and run. Fast Lunch – These guys know how to make great food (+ Margarita's) - and in a hurry. Our office is only 5 blocks away which makes for a great place to do business with clients or catch an after work drink. I'll definitely do lunch there again!
Good margaritas! – Before I moved to Atlanta, this place was my ultimate favorite for decent food (notice I said decent) and GREAT margaritas. I used to go almost all THEE time. Yes there is a long wait, but guess what? When you go to places that are known for having something good on the menu a lot of people will frequent there to get the goods! Great margaritas with salsa! It's also my kids favorite place to eat because of the atmosphere and the service. – Before my husband left to Iraq we went to eat with the whole family and we just enjoyed it! They had everything for the whole family to pick from. From meat to sea food. And the service was the greatest in Milwaukee.
