Weekly Occurrence! I have been going to La Fuente for 6 years now and all I have to say is...I'm addicted! On average, we go at least once weekly...and when family came to town from out of state, we went 3 times in 5 days! They loved it! The margaritas, the salsa, the food! Amazing! I can't say enough great things about this authentic mexican restaurant! Sit on the patio if its warm enough...the atmosphere is so much fun!!

La Fuente cooks don't even eat here! Don't waste your time or money at this dump. The margaritas are supposedly the best in town but they don't even use real lime juice. You can make the same thing at home with quality tequila and real lime juice for the same price. The food isn't bad but you can do better down the street at Cielito Lindo for half the price. You also won't have to wait an hour for a table there. I also feel bad for the non-Mexican employees there who apparently can't get the 4th of July off but every Mexican... read more

Great food - questionable customers? Customer service? It's obvious they get must get some difficult clientele. There's signs posted that say profanity will get you kicked out. On their menu they tell you NO split checks and a max of 2 credit cards per table. They add the 15% gratuity no matter the size of the party. The one that really shocked me was "returned plates and returned drinks still charged regular price". I realize a business has to cover themselves, but sheesh. Aside from that - VERY delicious food and margarita... read more

DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!! I'm not sure why people rave about this place or their "amazing margaritas"? The margaritas aren't anything special at all. Plus, there are tons of other Mexican restaurants all over the city that are way better in every way. Why would I want to drive all the way downtown to hope that I can park somewhere remotely nearby, walk to the restaurant, have to sit and wait for a table which could take anywhere up to an hour or more, order food that I haven't ever been impressed with, and have gratuity already a... read more

Changing... We used to love to go to this restaurant. And I will say they still have great food--but slowly as they raise the prices (which I know is necessary) we have noticed other changes. Extra charges for things that used to be assumed (cheese) I fiind that a little strange. Still, that may have changed now--so it is worth a try.

Great place to meet friends La Fuente is a great place to meet your friends for a drink and a bite to eat. Great food, good drinks, parking is convenient. They do alot to make you feel secure in your walk to and from parking. But be prepared to wait. Always crowded.

La Fuente is scary!!! This place has gone down hill. The patio is nice but the margaritas are BAD, the food is below average and the service SUCKED! Not to mention the automatic gratuity for any size group. I also did not feel safe here there was no manager on duty at all. Do NOT waste your time, there are too many Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee to risk your life here.

SERVICE CHARGE, cold, horrible SERVICE FEE on the bill! Three of us dined with a bill of about $52, and then we noticed the $7 SERVICE FEE which we were told was for the "bus boys."!!! The steak tacos were like shards of overcooked meat, which tasted like days old meat and bland. The La Fuente Special was supposed to come with guacamole, instead we were charged $2.10. $2 each for soda. Chairs were like cafeteria chairs, which didn't seem to fit for the high prices. Salsa tasted like it was out of a jar, chips had none of tha... read more
