THE WORST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY EVER. i JOINED AND WAS DISGUSTED BY THE CLUB AS I TRIED TO GO TWICE BEFORE COVID AND THE INSTRUCTORS NEVER SHOWED UP TO TEACH THE COURSE - I CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT AND KEPT GETTING CHARGED. I FINALLY GOT THROUGH AND THEY REIMBURSED ME IN JUNE OF 2020. TODAY, FEBRUARY 16 2021 I AM BEING CHARGED AGAIN - WHAT DO THEY THINK I WILL NOT NOTICE? I HAVE JUST CONTACTED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND AM REPORTING THEM ALL OVER FOR FRAUD - THIS IS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!
They offer a clean working health club, most of the equipment is broken or has been broken for months, no attempts to fix any and when question and compare other LA fitness around the area the answer this is round lake. I guess my fee every month is not worth in the round lake area.
These people are so inconsiderate that they tell you it’s up too you to be responsible over items that shouldn’t be touched by any other person then the owner. Now second incident of petty theft I had mentioned the first time get cameras installed least you can do charging high price a month for gym membership everyone else does it. LA Fitness uses unfair business practices, especially in a pandemic. I didn’t even realize I had a membership any longer but they have been harassing my to update my card after my old autobilling one was replaced. You can only cancel by going into a location or using a printer to mail them a form from the website. Those are your two options in a pandemic and they are completely unhelpful on the phone. The gyms are gross and the staff are completely unhelpful. Don’t bother.
The now branded Esporta Fitness location in Kissimmee Florida is placing flyers on cars in the parking lot of other gyms in the area. Including those owned by small business owners. In a time when all gyms are facing significant challenges this is slimy! Very disappointing.
This is the fourth compliant I make concerning the same matter and person. I have called LA Fitness Corporate to report the non compliance of mask use of some of the employees, especially to one in particular that never used the mask while attending prospect clients or talking to his coworkers. They took an annual fee from my casa count after it’s been on hold for over a year. I was told on the phone I can have my membership canceled over the phone with a manager to call back the next day. No call. When I called back now I have to go in to cancel... no manager on staff but I was never told there wouldn’t be one on a weekend. So here I am still a week later unable to cancel my membership.
Me and my workout friends have been going to Norwood Chicago location, since it was Bally’s we reported mechanical problems on the cardio machines several times to Josh R the Gm and George the AMG. My friend took a bad fall and instead of calling the ambulance, the staff helped him up and out the club, when he shouldn’t have been moved and ended up dying that night. Their answer was to smirk and said you work out at your own risk. Everyone there knows the ambulance should have been called. You killed our friend.
LA Fitness has been closed in my state until two weeks ago when very limited openings were permitted, and the company wasted no time in charging members (who cannot reasonably access the service - my gym is not open) the annual fee. Our household is unemployed and my LA Fitness account was frozen so we wouldn’t have to spend our unemployment on monthly dues.
