I have been trying to cancel for months. I called and was told I can either mail in a cancellation or I would have to go to the location. This is already ridiculous as I could sign up quickly and easily online. I don’t have a printer so I finally was able to go in to cancel. I was told they could not cancel, only a manager could do this and the manager works M-F 8-5. THAT IS WHEN I WORK!! I cannot go in during those hours. They are purposely making it impossible to cancel and continue billing me.
Due to my back injury and by doctor recommendation I had to stop any form of exercise. It’s been a month since I first contact manager of Esporta , to cancel my membership . I provide documents he requested but still NOTHING! My account is still open and I have been charge for working out sessions I can use!!!! To close gym account is a NIGHTMARE!!!!!
***** * I joined the LA Fitness location in Fort Lauderdale shortly before the Covid Pandemic. They were forced to shot down their business due to heath regulations. Make promises for money rebates at the time of signing up that were never able to be followed through. Gyms were clean and offered a lot. We wanted to cancel and they gave the biggest run around. Unable to by phone. Each person has to represent their own cancellation. Lost our mailed in paperwork. Person onsite from 9-5 M-F only. Its incredibly disappointing when majority of other membership companies allow easier cancellation.
Good morning just had a workout an i must say LA Fitness is the dirtiest gym i ever workout in. They need to add better lighting in their It's dusty an i never see anyone walking around cleaning. In the time of Covid-19 I will not be back to that gym.
AGM Ahmed is beyond unprofessional. Today he pulled down his mask and called me and my friend a pussy and stared me down while working out. This made me SUPER uncomfortable as I just started working out again after a major injury to my hand which sidelined me from working out for a year. LA Fitness in NW Portland, OR: I use this club for what I want it for: get in, work out with weights, get out. That being said, staff members are not helpful in reinforcing the mandate for properly wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. You are left to your own devices to confront others to wear their masks if you want to feel safe, which doesn't really feel safe either. Due to the covid issue I stopped going to this club. I didn't call them about it till late January of 2021. I didn't think they would do anything to defray their monthly fees, but then I looked at the website and saw that they were freezing fees, so I called at that time. They told me they would freeze the fees starting in February 2021; but I asked them to go back further than that because I saw online that they did that for other members. utter ******** cancellation policy. i called for my mother and they said she had to come in and cancel and to do that before 6 pm because the manager leaves at that time. yet , when she shows up they tell her that they can’t close the account because the manager is on vacation for a week. such dishonest practices and diversionary tactics make me never want to use this again. moreover, my mom is a older lady who can barely speak english and you want to take advantage?! truly despicable
