This specific location is a scam sales reps are over pushy and force things on you you don't need. I had a 3 day guest pass ( redeemed online from lafitness website) they lied and said there was a 24 hour activation period ( wasn't mentioned online) and the only way I could workout was to pay a day fee of 20 dollars. What kind of business says free pass but you have to pay upon arrival and we just made that rule up when you arrived. Also on numerous different occasions they'd ask for my guest i.d and said it had to stay upfr... read more

Cancelling your membership is a joke. They say you have to come in to the club in person even though they can see the phone number youre calling from. They also send an email to confirm the cancellation so if someone else really was trying to cancel my account I would get the email and be able to stop it. When I finally did go in they did not even ask for my ID or make me fill out/sign anything!!! Claimed all they needed was my name and phone number and that they could see the picture on my file. After cancelling I told them... read more

Cancellation process is impossible and they continued to charge my card 2 plus months after written notice, for more than I contracted for, claiming I had to appear in person, even though such a policy is not in any contract I signed. So I finally went in person and requested cancellation confirmation and I was told "trust *****" the manager to cancel. I also asked for a copy of the contact and a refund of money charged after cancellation and written cancellation confirmation, and placed follow up phone calls, but I found th... read more

*********, ** location. Trainers lie about training. They continue to reschedule training sessions. The trash cans are always over filled. The sanitizer dispensers are always empty. Paper towel holders are always empty. Staff members walking around all day harassing/ wifing/ interrupting members about workouts during our workouts. Female staff members are scandaly-clad . Just totally inappropriate staff setting. Employees demographics are unequal, racially and gender. ***********************

This club is a nightmare to cancel your membership with. First off all they require that you do it in person so that they can talk you out of it or you have to write to them and hope that snail mail arrives. We were members for a few years. I will NEVER join again.

The company cancellation policy is too convoluted and difficult. Moreover, the customer service is not helpful but rather adversarial. I guess the policy is that you have to mail your cancellation request to corporate and the website indicates that it can be faxed. I understand that a given procedure may be in place however, Instead of trying to accommodate my request, they acted as if they were angry with me that I wanted to discontinue a service that I was paying for. The manager insisted that faxing was not an option when... read more

I had an LA Fitness membership since 2017, but I emailed the corporate office in March 2020, stating "Effective immediately, please cancel my membership." I called the ** branch but the building had just been closed during the height of COVID, so I couldn't come in person to cancel. The person who I spoke to in ** said since I couldn't come in person, my email would be enough and the my membership would be canceled. I checked my bank account over the next few months to make sure, and I wasn't being charged; so I assumed my a... read more

Stay away from the club. It is unsanitary. It's not worth your hard earned money. They care about selling memberships, period. And whatever you do, stay out of that slimy pool and hot tub. Nasty and gross.

I have been a customer for almost five years. My first personal trainer before Covid there was terrific. Since Covid, they have been unable to provide personal trainers at 6:00 a.m. so that I can train before work. Four trainers work at the gym, but none are available before 8:00 a.m. I have tried multiple times to give the trainers a chance to come at 6:00 a.m. or even 6:30 a.m. On at least four occasions the trainer did not show up for the scheduled session.I continue to be billed for sessions that they cannot or are unwil... read more
