The employees at the front desk are watching out for expensive cars that are out of the cameras view than they call the maintenance guy to follow you into the locker room and break your lock and still your belongings and than they go to your car break into it is happening repeatedly a lot of clients says its an inside job its the la fitness Im ******* hills ** *************************************************************************************** thats called pre meditated robbery !

I honestly cant believe how miss leading the people here can be. I am a college student going to my local gym which is LA fitness and theyve taken advantage of me with their personal training packages. I got a call shortly after joining the gym about a personal training deal and I was curious so I met up with the guy at the gym and he told me all about it. As other stated, cancellation is absurd. Not military friendly and will continually charge you unless you mail something in. No regard to if you are in a location unable to print/mail/fax. It's 2022 and there's no setup for email or phone cancellations. Absolutely terrible company making it hard for it's patrons to leave as necessary. They have lost me and anyone near me as customers for life.

The cancellation process for personal training is a nightmare. On 4/4/2022 I went to ESPORTA Fitness to have them adjust my monthly **** since they were still charging me LA Fitness $37.99 price despite ESPORTA having a lower price after being rebranded from LA Fitness. After the adjustment was made, I asked a guy named ******* who works there, about the personal training program and he told me everything about it. My family has been members of this location since they originally opened. In 2019 my father was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and was no longer able to use his membership. I had gone in person and cancelled his membership that year. Earlier this year we find out they have still been charging for his account even after his passing which they were fully aware of. Sad to see such a great Location be ruined by Poor Upkeep and Dishonest practices. Was a member for 10 years.. Stayed away Due to Covid. Paid annually. I paused account, they activated it w/o telling me. I tried to Restart they say i owed them for months, and would not let me join w/o paying for portion while shut down.. I have tried multiple times. They dont care about you, just a # to them. Upkeep has always been pretty bad, but the location was too good to pass up. Planet Fitness is less then 5 minutes away now.. Will try... read more

Absolutely unethical way of running a business. After meeting for several hours with the lead trainer we signed thousands of dollars worth of personal training. Just to have that same person quit, the trainer we were assigned to quit, and the only trainer left no-showed on an appointment. Corporate wants half our remaining balance to cancel the agreement. That's $2k for services unrendered.

LA Fitness and all its affiliates make cancelling a membership an appalling, arduous process. Making calls leads you nowhere. You have to cancel with the operations manager in person and the one on ************* in ************** always leaves before 5. How is it that someone with a regular 9-5 can meet with you. And far be it if you could cancel a membership online like a modern company. I have been a member of LA Fitness for over 6 years and I must say that my experience with your service has been very disappointing from the very beginning. I started my membership at LA Fitness Kearny before they even opened. My family and I signed up when the gym was still under construction and they were signing up people in front of the building in a tent outside.
