My review comes with a heavy heart he was great to begin with great bedside manners but he preformed multiple surgeries on my foot. Then after the last one he did he said there was nothing more he could do even tho I couldn't walk and in a lot of pain went for a second opinion and in my new Dr's words he did a "hack" job on my foot they have attempted to correct my foot but dr swanson for whatever reason cut the tendon in my toe. He had it completely crooked and it looked horrible now 6 surgeries in and idk if I'll ever have... read more

I was recommended to Dr. Swanson by my first podiatrist, Michael Corcoran through sweds in Belvidere IL. Dr. Swanson was the only one that listened to my concerns & knew immediately what my problem was. I drove over an hr to go see him! He's one heck of a surgeon!
