RecommendedBeen going to Khost Tires at the Mount Pocono store for tires and Car service for 2 years now, best place I have found in the Mount Pocono area to date, The staff are friendly, helpful and honest. They have kept my klunkers on the road and safe at a very fair price, both Tom and Nick are excellent managers and have a professional crew working for them that are very friendly and helpful ALL THE TIME.
I went there today, Pocono Summiy, to switch out my tires with winter tires. They told me my regular tires were worn out and I should probably just junk them. I bought them at the Pocono Summit location July 2016 so I asked about a pro rated warranty. They Denied even selling me those tires. They said they don’t offer those type And blew me off. I've been going to Kost on all my vehicles for years. Convinced my son , who always went to Jack Williams, to try Kost. Purchased 4 tires for BMW. Now said can't fix has a crack. Didn't have crack before.. He is a nurse at VA Hospital and furious. Wants to talk to Erwin Kost and contacting lawyer.
I had an appointment at the Milford, PA Kost at 10am for an inspection and didn’t walk out of there till almost 12pm. Seems like they are taking on more then they can handle. Will never go back again and will not recommend to friends.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Kost Tire on Rt 11 in Bloom. Thought my daughter had an oil leak. Thought she was low on oil. We checked it, were going to add oil, couldn't get the cap off. Took her car there,at 415 PM, they close at 530. Explained the situation. The guy said we can put it up on a lift and see where its leaking. Turns out its leaking around the oil pan, not low on oil. Not lie to customers, or try to sell them parts/tires/other things they do not need, just to make a buck. I've been lied to at least twice, at 2 different Kost locations.
I have been a long time customer of the Bloomsburg location. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. In mid-late July, I purchased the 1 year alignment package due to the roads I drive. They have all been damaged from the pipeline. After much damage to my vehicle, it wasn’t worth fixing anymore, so I traded in and got myself a new vehicle. I called and asked about transferring the package to another vehicle or getting a pro-rated refund. I went to the Mount Pocono Kost Tire and Auto Service location this morning because one of my front tires kept losing air. They took my car back within five minutes and checked BOTH front tires. Not only did the gentleman fixing my car try to straighten out my rims (Pothole casualties), he patched my tire and made sure they neither of them would leak air anymore due to the bent rim. The best part, they did this all for NO CHARGE! I was completely blown away. Thank you guys!! You will have my repeat business for sure!
I had my brakes and tires replaced on December 22nd ot last year at the Watertown, NY location. Charged 72.99 each for new back rotors. Now I'm having to buy new rotors because after failing a state required inspection due to bad rotors, we take them off only to realize that they put my old rotors back on while still charging me for brand new ones. Not to mention as the third customer in the shop that day it took them over 4 hours to give me new tires, brakes pads, brake rotors, and brake calipers. They made me late for work... read more
