We will never visit Kona Kai Resort again! Such a disappointment. I never review hotels, but due to our experience there I think it’s important for people to realize what they are getting. First, the suites are not suites. The room descriptions on the website are completely misleading and need to be changed. The girls at the front desk were rude and accused me of lying about who I booked my trip through. It was one thing after another. Spare yourself the frustration and the money!

I cancelled a reservation at Kona Kai resort on 8/3/18 - 7 days in advance of check in (8.10.18) and well in advance of their 48 hour cancellation policy) - to date I have not received a refund of my deposit of $410.94 which I was told several times now that I would be receiving. I have also provided proof of the cancellation to the hotel on 3 occaisions and still no one has processed this refund that is due. (2 front desk people, and an assistant manager named Bree). My organization hosted a PHENOMENAL event this past weekend at this location and WOW! We started off with a little pothole, BUT THE TEAM WENT ALL OUT TO ENSURE that our clientele was well taken care of and for that I/WE ARE GRATEFUL! Customer Service was on point from every single person that I had the pleasure of encountering as the org's founder. The question becomes how can we return and top what we encountered for our Retreat this year? (hmmm)

A terrible neighbor, playing music so loud that residences across the water cannot enjoy a quiet night at home. Don’t be part of the problem, stay somewhere else.
Great service. Super nice get away from all the noise. Nice if you’re traveling alone too.
