The interestingly-named Knife is somewhat of a cross between a Texan steakhouse and a contemporary hipster eatery. Located in Mockingbird Lane and associated with Dallas Highland Hotel, the place doles out classic meat preparations made from fine quality grass-fed Texan beef. Apart from favorites that include pork belly brisket and cured pastrami dishes, the restaurant also boasts of stellar charcuterie offerings that comprise of several exotic meats, game fowls, pork and lots more.

Fantastic experience all around.
It was excellent. Service and food were amazing!
Great place for a date night. Definitely recommend this place!
Amazing food and great service! Never disappoints

Business response:
and we love you even when your not eating steak
Always amazing. Great service, and the ONLY place in town to try dry-aged steaks. Also, don't overlook the raw crudos and tartares.
*Edited* We were invited back by the owner after a disappointing first visit and found the food and service to be very good. The GM and our server were very attentive and made us feel like valued customers. The bacon appetizer and short rib entree were favorites for us, as was the black truffle pasta. We will be checking out the new location in Willow Bend when it opens! ** original post** The food was good, but the service and atmosphere were not up to what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I have never tasted worst filet mignon . How do you manage to turn the best and the most tender piece of meat into something that is completely dry and tasteless?? We ordered medium well but more on the medium side , they cut the filet in half so they could grill it faster or something , I was confused (kitchen was apparently behind the schedule that night). Their bacon sampling and cheese board was great but then how hard is it to make bacon taste good. Disappointed, was expecting much better.
