Canceled my cousins trip because they did not have enough life preservers then said they would refund them but refused to.
I was really looking forward to a nice day out on the Delaware River with my family, after paying Kittatinny Canoes over $200. When I arrived at the site, I was turned away because they didn't have a life jacket for my daughter. I was also informed that I would be refunded. RecommendedWe had a wonder time camping and bonding. The people were friendly and accommodating.
I normally don't comment on my stays where I vacation. But I have to comment here. It was the best experience, most relaxing place I have ever stayed at. It seemed like time slowed down. My boyfriend and I didn't have to do anything if we didn't want to. We could do whatever we wanted to. We went on a canoe trip and we enjoyed the scenery, the relaxing slow trip down the river. I spent Labor Day in a cabin and kayaked. So relaxing and fun. Recommend to everyone.
we reserved a 12pm start time and weren't able to hit the water until about two hours later. they dont warn you that you'll have to wait in a long check in line or for the shuttle busses to give you a heads up to get there early. after the long line, we then waited for the bus. there were several things that the staff could have been doing to make the process more efficient and expeditious that shouldn't have made their lives difficult. a big one would be lining people up before the bus arrived so the loading was faster. ano... read more
Waited in line several times to get onto a raft. Very disorganized system.
Terrible customer service, uncleanly sites, very loud parties past the 11 pm quiet hours (loud music until 2 am). DO NOT camp here if you have an RV and want full hook up! RV sites are horrible.
The place was very accommodating despite that we needed to add 2 more people to our reservation and it was fully booked. We had a great time! This was our 4th time going down the river and I just wish it was a little bit longer.
