People need to stop at River Runner's Roost Restaurant at Pond Eddy.NY base either before or after their trip down river for award winning 5 star food.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Left us stranded on the side of the river for three hours after we had raft issues. They said they were on our way to get us each time we called over those three hours. Eventually relied on the kindness of strangers to get us back to our cars. HORRIBLE customer service afterwards-- refused to admit any wrong-doing and did not offer a refund or discount. Truly incompetent people who do not care about their customers.
Asked to reschedule twice due to medically not being able to raft per doctors orders and was told per the policy in my order confirmation email, I am only allowed to reschedule once, which leaves me out my $150 deposit and out a rafting trip. I think its extremely poor customer service for them to not make an exception based on my circumstances. I'm glad a friend took me to this place or else I would never find out that there's this fun place to hang out by the water. We were on a kayak which is my first experience and I think I kind of live doing it. I wish I can go back and try it myself. The river was perfect if your a bigenner because there are more calm water than white waters and the white waters are not enter or extreme. It's fun out there. It's different from being in the ocean. So I recommend this place for everyone who loves to be in the water.
