Used to be our family solicitors but after 3 days and emails not responded to they're our family solicitors no more
I'm about to withdraw from a purchase facilitated by Hugh Lewis. Previous buyers dropped out too. He is slow, unresponsive, disappearing and deceiving to both his clients and the other side of the transaction. If you want to close your deal, go elsewhere.
The purchases of our late father's property unfortunately used Kirk & Partners for conveyancing. The sale nearly fell through as a result. Communication is very poor. Mr Lewis was almost impossible to contact; our solicitor waited days and weeks for responses to messages, which stalled the process almost terminally. He did not update his clients on the answers we provided to questions they had raised. When contact was made (by phone), his manner was rude and arrogant. Avoid.
