Kingsway Surgery provide a good GP service. The staff are friendly and helpful. The main problem I find here is that the acoustics are really poor in the waiting area, so if your name is called it is hard to hear it.
Called in for a back complaint, got a call back which resulted in a text being sent to me at 10:55 saying to come in to see the doctor at 11:30. I waited for over an hour to see this doctor!! I asked at 10:45 where I was in the queue, and was told that two patients were in front of me. So how does that equate to an hour wait when slots are meant to be only 10 minutes?? All the surgery’s moving into Crouch Vale was the worst thing that ever happened to Kingsway surgery!!
Worst surgery reception I have ever had the misfortune to use. Staff not helpful & rude. Seem to hate patients. Booking system ensures you cannot get an appointment easily. When after 3 days of trying I got an appointment for my grandson. I witnessed an elderly gentleman asking for an appointment & he didn’t have internet to be told you have to phone only. Very blunt lady on the phone. Waited a long time which is fine and i understand it's very busy but a bit of kindness on the phone would have been nice.
Terrible service. Each and Every time they let you down. Cancelled appointments 3 mins before they are due. I feel sorry for the receptionist dealing with fed up patients due to the other staff constantly causing unnecessary problems. I think this sums it up, having attended a rescheduled appointment for one that was cancelled. I said I was meant to come last week and it was cancelled 3 mins before it was due, the reply was, that was me. I was sick, you can kick me in the head if you like.
