The staff are neglectful, They let you sit in withdrawal, they don’t listen to your needs other than the Consultant doctor Lee who doesn’t see what was going on half the time and how are the patients have been treated I’m literally scared to leave my room to knock on the staff of his door because I thought for being mocked. If anything this place is making me worse
To anybody with a loved one going into Kingfisher Court, don't be scared by the reviews. My mum is currently in Wren Ward and the whole experience so far has been incredible, with her being there for almost a month now. The staff are friendly, helpful and brilliant at communicating. They've built rapport with mum and tried different approaches to encourage her, which means she's finally making improvements that we've not managed to make anywhere else. An absolutely disgusting place that needs shutting down. We had to pull our friend out of there and move her elsewhere because we feared for her safety in there. Neglectful staff with no compassion and they wind up the patients and torment them. Doris in Swift Ward needs to tone down her attitude and think about a career change. Formal complaints have been made. I was not even a patient at this place yet I feel traumatised by what I’ve seen.
