Improvements could be made if they fully accepted Medicaid. apparently certain doctors referrals are not accepted here anymore and it's ridiculous. We have used the urgent care a few times last year when my son was ill with the flu. we used the urgent care because they accepted Medicaid, was faster than the E.R. and also is for not so life threatening matters. I don't have a problem with the staff, and the doctors are great. I just strongly feel that if Medicaid is accepted it should be accepted regardless of who the child's... read more
RecommendedThey were excellent! We had no wait time and they were very attentive to all of our needs.
Awful place. Took my 10yo son for a laceration of his upper lip, inner and outer. They didn’t take his name, birth date, info, NOT EVEN INSURANCE info.... told us “they don’t do stitches” and “they don’t do faces” and said if we wanted help to go to Children’s ER. He need a little bit of glue on his lip and cleaning up. But they wouldn’t even help him.
RecommendedI would recommend for the patient care but not for the front desk/billing side. Unable to pull insurance benefits...charge their own "copay" of $35 or you can pay entire $125 for visit. Staff member said this happens every Sunday she works. Even though I know my copay is $25...they wouldn't accept. Said will reimburse me the difference once claims process. Just something good to know before you go!
RecommendedI took my daughter there today for the first time as a new patient. Honestly, I did not want to go because I read the reviews, but got to the point where we didn't have a choice. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised! The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, our wait time in the waiting room was minimal, maybe about 15 minutes. RecommendedEverything was very clean, we were in an out in about 45 minutes, and the staff was amazing. I definitely recommend taking your little ones here if they're sick
Horrible experience. After waiting two hours they informed us the system shut down and it would be another hour before it would be up. What kind of medical facility doesn’t have a downtown procedure. Won’t be back.
RecommendedI cannot say enough about this place. I took my grandson today bc he was complaining of a headache and sore throat. From the front receptionist, to the nurse, to the Nurse Practitioner we saw, everyone was so good to us, and they are all so personable! They even had complimentary drinks (I had coffee) in the waiting room. The longest we waited was for the strep test, which took 15 minutes. I highly recommend this place for children.
