⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 I’ve been at Khiron Clinic for three months, and over the past two to four weeks, I’ve experienced a marked deterioration in my mental health. I don’t believe this is due to the therapeutic modalities themselves, but rather a natural response to accessing deep, unprocessed trauma in the context of a highly dysregulated nervous system. Khiron clinics is a very poorly run organisation who financially exploits and often re-traumatises its' clients, many of whom are in such a desperate state that they are close to committing suicide; or - as was the case with one man - actually go through with it. This poor man succeeded in taking his own life, after having seemed to me to be left feeling so unsupported by the place that he felt such a desperate course of action was his only choice. All of the therapists are extremely skilled in their own way, and the care and understanding they show are wonderful. Group sessions, especially process groups are completely transformative, and the safe space created is incredibly healing. My resilience has been tested in a big way in the few days since I finished the day clinic.
