Great experience. He explained my situation thoroughly which is what I was looking for.
He. Made me feel comfortable. Convinced me to go another way to get my motion
I was referred to Dr Seng for a procedure I’ve had in the past that is inexpensive and effective but he would not accept my former physicians diagnosis and treatment. I was given the ultimatum of an MRI or nothing. I therefore had to pay a few hundred dollars for 5 minutes of his time in exchange for an hour of mine. I guess that’s less than several thousands for an MRI but it was still a bad experience. I had to see another Dr a week later to get my $150 cortisone shot.
I have never had a worse experience with a healthcare provider. Dr. Seng suggested that the sharp pain i've been experiencing in my knee for 8+ months was created by my brain due to depression (I'm a 20-something, extremely active athlete, who is not depressed). He refused to run any further tests, and told me that I should consider accepting the pain for the rest of my life. This is aside from some other extremely degrading, personal comments he made towards me- other reviews here mention his cocky/egotistical attitude and ... read more

Only interested in my insurance Everything was fine until I could not comply with his demands that I undergo an immediate surgery Dr Seng cared nothing about me as a patient. He did not realize that some of us live in the real world, and have to worry about things like our jobs and earning a living. Dr.Seng was angry with me when I wanted to get a 2nd opinion (thank goodness I did), and very rude. Seemed to be more interested in my ability to pay. I found him to be arrogant and uncaring.
I couldn’t have landed on a better Dr to perform my ACL autograft. I suffered the terrible triad from a skiing accident and just happened to be referred to Dr Seng’s office. He is the only Dr. I’ve ever had that will listen to everything you have to say and actually ask probing questions, caring about your health. I am now 1 year post op and after reading nightmare ACL stories all over the web, I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr Seng as my surgeon.
In my view, Dr. Seng is not to be trusted. He misled me about his experience with a rather exotic injury (it turns out he had none), and he totally botched the surgery, dramatically changing my life for the worse, apparently forever. I still can't sit more than a year after the surgery, and he didn't know how to deal with it. From my experience, he is arrogant to the point where he was willing to put his own interest (having an exotic surgery under his belt) above my own. Don't go there
Dr.Seng is a smart man with solid training and career experience in paper. However, the message he sends is that he is more interesting in boosting his ego and performing surgery than he is in caring for the patient before or after surgery. He was in no way committed to my recovery, the impact surgery had on my life, or the implications of continued pain at the surgical site. There are far too many talented and caring doctors in the Boulder area to see a doctor who only wants the surgery.
