Dr. Pikey was very professional, knowledgeable, and took more interest in my case than I have seen in other physicians. He spent time with me and it was greatly appreciated.
I’ve known others who have gone to Sabates Eye Center in Overland Park and the wait use to be ridiculous. Easily 2 or more hours. Now however, the wait is reasonable 5-10 min. Great friendly, caring, knowledgable staff. Dr Pikey is no nonsense, get you in and out.
My visit with Dr. Pikey as always is a pleasure and look forword to his assesment of my eye condition. He is thorough, honesty and has a pleasent smile! Widely recommend him to family, Church family and friends. Proud to have been selected to his care for cataract surgery and follow ups. Between him and Dr. Lyon, I am extremely blessed!

In October 2019, I had routine right eye cataract surgery with Dr. Kevin Pikey at Sabates Eye Clinic. I was stunned when I was brought back after the surgery to the recovery room and told they put the wrong patient's lens into my right eye. Without asking my consent, they then sent me back to the OR to put in the correct lens. It has been 3 months and since then I have no vision out of my right eye and have constant headaches and blurry vision throughout the day.
