I highly recommend Dr. Pikey. I’m so thankful I found him. I needed a great Ophthalmologist to heal my my diminishing vision. His professional skills are excellent and my vision issues are healed. I told him how thankful I am that he went to medical school and ended up as my Dr. He cares about my vision as much as I do and with his skilled hands and surgical skills my vision is 100% healed.
Dr. Pikey was rude and arrogrant and did not accept responsibility for putting in the incorrect lens for cataract surgery. His staff was inconsiderate and did not know answers to questions and did not care. The Sabates Eye Center staff and Dr. Pikey denied me my "Patient Bill of Rights" and my Patient Confidentiality.
Dr. Pikey fixed my cataracts for both eyes in 2018. He did an excellent job, answering all my detailed and sometimes needless questions. Went with his recommendation to have one eye adjusted for reading, and the other for distance. Dr. Pikey is very professional and very good at what he does. Long story short after the operations, it was the first time I didn't need glasses nor contacts since 10. 3 years later needed a capsulotomy in one eye as does happen to many patients. Dr Pikey is very professional and to the point, but he will answer any questions. Have been a patient for 7 years and very pleased. Will have cataract surgery this year and trust him thoroughly. Staff is very pleasant, helpful, and efficient.
Always informative. No nonsense professional. Sometimes seems stressed and overcommitted.
My diagnosis came as a shock, Dr. Pikey and the staff eased my fears. He has a calm and comforting demeanor. God bless
My visit was very busy--I had many tests, and everything was explained. Dr Pikey is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the eyes as it related to me. He explained what he was seeing as he saw it, and I left with the feeling that I was in very good hands. I highly recommend him. I would give the Sebatase Eye Center the highest recommendation for anything that has to do with my eyes.
