As I said to various staff members, this knee replacement was more pleasant than a visit to the dentist! I enjoyed my overnight at the hospital after the operation. After three months, I am able to walk (mostly) unassisted.
Dr. Mitts and his team are wonderful!!! I felt listened to and respected by everyone. Scheduling appointments was easy and follow-up appointments were always timely. I felt Dr. Mitts explained the procedure accurately, I went home the same day as the surgery, and haven't had any complications. It's been 3 months since my surgery and I'm back to walking and hiking without pain.

I had a total knee replacement and the explanation and timeline of expectations was right on point. I was playing pickleball in 10 weeks. I was treated respectfully, everyone in the office was friendly and Dr Mitts was 100% on point with what to expect and when to expect it. No one looks forward to surgery, but this went as well as it could have. I'm extremely satisfied with my surgeon!
Dr Mitts spent significant time explaining what to expect with a full knee replacement. He took considerable time answering our numerous questions, always mindful to make sure we understood the answers, and he addressed follow up questions appropriately.

Dr. Mitts did a total hip replacement on my right hip. I was in agony for almost a year before having the surgery. I was able to go home the day of my surgery & had no problems or complications after the surgery. Three months after the surgery I feel so much better and am back to my normal life. I would 100% recommend him!
