This was one of the best Dr. visits I have ever had. The entire staff was amazing, professional and kind. Dr. Sumida was very thorough and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Sumida!
Dr. Sumida has been amazing throughout the treatment of my knee and then the final decision to go with total knee replacement. He prepared me for the surgery, always answered all my questions and provided me with needed information. Now I am post- op with my new knee and he continues to provide me with excellent care. I am so happy that he has been my doctor throughout this process!!!! He has been so supportive!
Eric has been seeing Dr. Sumida for the last 5 years. 3 fractures later he is by far our favorite orthopedic doctor. His keen sensitivity to Eric’s active lifestyle and sports activities informs his practice of medicine and treatment. He is extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful human being. We love seeing him, albeit under broken bones situations. The practice he is affiliated with is very user friendly and patient focused. We highly recommend without reservation.
I’ve been to numerous docs in this practice (injury prone marathon runner) and have always been pleased with the service, as well as the knowledge and interactions with the PAs, techs, and doctors. They are efficient, but thorough - perfect style for a patient like me who wants straight answers and practical advice to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. Dr. S was super - easy to talk to, confidently fielded my questions and addressed my concerns, and got the athlete mentality.
If you don’t have time to research a good Ortho and have pain that’s not enabling, this place will work. The appointment was very rushed, got some pills, got a packet of poorly explained instructions and told to get therapy. This is not really a get to know the patient or the problem and attempt to show care or real concern kind of place. Definitely not my cup of tea. $145 later and I still have pain 2 months later.
