Dr. Sumida is thorough, competent and very nice
My appointment and diagnosis were quick and easy. Dr. Sumida was friendly and easy to talk to. I would recommend highly him.
Dr. Sumida has treated me and 4 other members of my family for various orthopedic problems starting in about 2004. His knowledge, skill, thoroughness, and consideration have always produced excellent outcomes.
Was very kind and patient with me and my knee injury.....Did a complete knee reconstruction with no complications post op. He explained what he was going to and did it..... If i have any other joint issues he will be my guy!!
Very rude, disrespectful, judgmental. He did not greed when entering the room, left without letting me know the visit was over. I had questions, but he left me. I sure won't go back to a visit with him, nor recommend anyone to see him. Good thing I don't need surgery because I would not trust this guy, especially with a scalpel. There are plenty of other doctors to choose from, he is not an option. Do not waste your money going to him.
Dr. Sumida is incredibly skilled and I feel fortunate to have been in his care. He did an excellent job not only diagnosing, but correcting the ligament issue in my knee.
MRI result said i had a tear on my left shoulder. Dr.Sumida said thiat MRI was wrong after feeling my shoulders around and gave me a cortisone shot becasue the MRI also said that there was fluid. All this happened within 5 minutes of the appointment. I can't tell whether this is efficiency or just imprudent. I don't think he provided enough explanation for me to side with him than the MRI. WIll get a second opinion on the matter.
Dr. Kevin Sumida is an outstanding surgeon. I had a ruptured Achilles tendon that was completely torn off the bone. My injury was complicated by my type 1 diabetes, which slows healing and increases the risk of complications. Dr. Sumida advised me of the potential risks of the surgery and provided with a detailed recovery plan. The surgery went flawlessly and he provided excellent treatment during the recovery period. Due to Dr. Sumida’s excellent care I recovered with no complications.
I enjoyed working with Dr. Sumida and place all of my trust in him. I would recommend him to friends and family, and would see him again if the need occurs.
