I had my first appointment with Dr. Pugar this morning after opting to transition my care from another neurologist. The difference between my former provider and this practice is nothing short of astounding. Having only seen one neurologist prior to Dr. Pugar, I now know what to expect as far as compassion, professionalism, support and knowledge. He took the time to answer my questions and seemed to genuinely care. The office staff is kind, welcoming and helpful. Great office!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Pugar for a couple years now, and have never had a bad experience, he takes the time to explain things to you in a way that you will understand. He definitely gives you his undivided attention and I always leave feeling positive. My primary care physician always raves about how good of hands I'm in and that he's the best which I certainly believe.
Last week, I had the greatest pleasure of meeting Dr. Pugar. It was my first visit to his office. The staff was not only kind, but very organized & helpful. I was extremely nervous about this visit, but Dr. Pugar was absolutely Superb!! When he walked into the room, I immediately felt as ease. He is an extremely intelligent & caring person. I feel very blessed to have him as my Dr. I will recommend everyone to him, that may need his services. TY again, Dr.Pugar!! ??
First visit with Dr. Pugar. I hate going to doctor's offices and hospitals, but this visit was relatively pleasant. He seems to be very knowledgeable, was fairly easy to talk with and gave me, from what I could tell, an honest, straightforward diagnosis, and a common sense variety of courses of action to follow. The staff was fairly pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to return, if need be, nor to recommend him based on my one visit.
I have been seeing Dr. Pugar for my migraines and have finally found some relief! He is very thorough and listens to my concerns. When I sent him a message on the patient portal I had a response that same day. My mom also sees him and has nothing but wonderful things to say about him.
Dr. Pugar and Joe are very helpful and supportive during this trying time. My husband Roy has Parkinson's with dementia and is currently living in an extended care facility. Roy has in the past presented with hallucinations and delusions. They recommended he start a clinical study for Nuplazid. Roy's hallucinations have diminished immensely since taking Nuplazid. I only report one incident of a hallucination since starting the medicine last summer.

Dr. Pugar is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and listens well and is very helpful. We have been with his practice for 15+ years. Excellent doctor!
We have only had 1 appointment with Dr. Pugar, but we were very impressed. He listened to our concerns and explained why he was requesting further testing. He took his time with us and we both felt very good about our visit.
