Went for 2nd opinion and was extremely happy with our visit. Dr. Pugar was very informative, ask lots of questions and listened to what my concerns were.
The Doctor answered all questions and explained my information in an easy to understand manner.
Very comprehensive assessment for my mother, very attentive and patient focused, highly recommend Dr. Pugar if you need neurology assessment, he spent lots of time and showed genuine concern for her well-being, very honest about her mental impairment, providing expected next steps, great patient and family interaction as appropriate - better than five stars
Very nice, explained everything in detail and in a way we can understand. Gave us information on underlying conditions. he is very caring, listens carefully, I would highly recommend Dr. Pugar.
I came in for a seizure. He had me go do a 24hr halter monitor test and a 90 min EEG as well as a 24hr EEG. after I had done all of these test I returned for my final appointment. He released me to go back to work. He has no people skills and did not talk to me through both of my appointments. He talks into a microphone which his computer then puts into words on his screen. He did not personally explain the results of the EEG or even talk to me about what a seizure is, warning signs, or any sort of actions I should be taking... read more
We were very late and he still agreed to see us because he knew how badly needed him. He was kind, compassionate, knowlegable and down to earth.
After the past year of doctors who don't follow through and don't explain things in layperson terms I cannot say enough good about Dr Pugar. He was kind, thorough, knowledgeable. He made it very clear he would be available in the future if I needed help at anytime such as having increased pain.
She helped me with my sleep apnea (she recommend a cpap machine) and was very friendly.
The Dr walked in and hardly gave an introduction which threw me off because it was my first time meeting him. He would ask me a question about my symptoms and then immediately interrupt me trying to tell me what I should be feeling. Didn’t believe me when I had told him I had already gone to a PT only because he personally hadn’t heard of them. He has the worst bedside manners I have ever seen in a professional setting.
